Vehicles
275+ vehicles spanning a century of transport.
From horse-drawn wagons to supersonic jets, Transport Fever 3 features the largest vehicle roster in the series. The categories below are confirmed by official sources.
Each row below is one vehicle, grouped by the industry it serves. The grouping is the useful part: a wagon and a tanker look unrelated until you see that one moves raw goods and the other moves processed liquid, and a route only works if the vehicle type matches what the industry at each end actually wants. Read the category first, then the vehicle.
Where a figure is uncertain, the note says so instead of leaving a plausible number in place. A roster is the kind of page that goes quietly out of date, and a confidently wrong tonnage is worse than an admitted gap because it will be copied.
To check whether a vehicle can actually move a given commodity, look up what that commodity's industry consumes and produces. For the Deluxe roster and the difference between editions, see Which edition.
The roster is also where a vehicle's role becomes obvious. A vehicle built to haul one commodity over long distances is a different purchase from one built to shuttle short distances between two buildings, and the same name can appear in two categories for reasons that only make sense once you know which industry is asking for it. If a vehicle seems misfiled, that is usually the explanation rather than an error.
Nothing here is a recommendation. Whether a vehicle is worth buying in your save depends on the network you already have, and a roster that told you what to buy would be making an argument the data does not support. The value of this page is that it tells you what exists and what each thing does, and lets you decide.
